Photo Art

I was never a fan of post processing in general or photo manipulation until …

Until I found myself looking at a terribly overexposed picture of a Belted Kingfisher, that looked quite interesting and I was wondering what I could get out of it. It turned out to become a conversation starter, at the markets that I joined and was the start of my more creative photo work. Which means what you see here might at times be far from the original picture.

Fall Colors

I took this picture years ago on a small path next to the road from Niagra Falls to Niagra on the lake. I saw the path while driving, stopped and shortly after I stepped on the trail I saw this beautiful pink leaf with the water drops on it between all the other leaves.

This picture actually consists out of 3 photos and is a HDR (High Dynamic Range) picture.

This picture is currently available as a 11x14 print on luster paper or metallic paper in my shop.

Kingfisher

This is the picture I mentioned above - a happy accident. A bit of playing around in post processing rewarded me with a picture that turned out beautifully printed on metal.
